Nikita studied Fashion Design & Development, a BA honors course, at London College of Fashion and graduated with first-class honors. As a child, she was inspired by her parents and grandparents, who work as fashion buyers in a three-generation Indian retail family business. The talented designer spent most of her childhood traveling with her parents on business trips to India, where they worked closely with Indian manufacturers and suppliers. This is when Nikita started to understand the business dynamics and developed an eye for design and pattern.
Fueling her childhood inspirations, Nikita started working in the London media at a very young age of 16. She interviewed the influencers and celebrities on various occasions and red carpet events. A major part of her early teens was spent with her mother, who dressed up several Indian stars for their roles in London. From her late mother, Nikita learned how to dress up women to make them feel powerful, beautiful, and self-confident through their appearance.
The designer brand ‘Nikita Karizma’ is now heavily involved in every step of the design and development process and collaborating with trendy style influences. Nikita manages the business from her London design studio. She prefers to work closely with her team to effectively design, develop, and produce her fashion pieces, contemporary clothing articles, skincare lines, and other lifestyle products.
The compassionate designer donates a part of the brand’s profits to a number of charities across the world, including local organizations fighting to end homelessness, hunger, and domestic violence in the towns she visits, thereby giving back to the community and boosting humanity’s awareness.
